A manganese mine group located in the NW¼ sec. 3 & the NE¼ sec. 4, T3S, R23W. Owned by Hess, Hess & Lilly; and, Kirk & Lea.
Mineralization is psilomelane and pyrolusite in irregular, disconnected masses and veinlets in brecciated and silicified Tertiary andesitic volcanics along fault zones.
Workings include open pit operations.
