A former small underground Pb-Ag-Cu-Zn-Au mine located in T21S, R15E, about ½ mile south of the Anaconda camp, 3 miles WSW from Ruby, on National Forest land. Owned at times, or in part, by Parks; Anaconda-Arizona Mining Co.; Altamirano; and the Boulder Mining Co.
Mineralization is a 10 foot wide east-west vertical mineralized shear zone in andesite. The croppings are stained with, and contain, copper carbonates and limonite. The carbonate is principally azurite. Iron and copper sulphides begin at the bottom of the shaft.
Workings include a 45 foot shaft and a 90 foot long tunnel. Production was 1 car of ore to 1901.
