A Au-Ag placer deposit area located in T.23S., R.11E., in California Gulch and its tributaries. Owned at least in part by the Gold Bar Mining Co.

Mineralization is flour to small nuggets of gold with alloyed silver in a gravel terrace derived from numerous weathered gold-silver-bearing veins, and blanket deposits along several gulches and their tributaries.

Workings include mostly crude operations prior to 1900. Possibly up to 1,000 oz. of gold-silver amalgam were produced.
