A former small placer gold mine/deposit area located in sec. 27, T22S, R15E, in Three R Canyon, 2.5 miles NW of the Three R Mine about 6 miles SW of Palmetto, on private land. Last produced 1927. Owned (320 acres) by the Patagonia Placer Mines Co. (circa 1927).

Mineralization is gold-bearing Quaternary gravels. Ore control was detrital gold probably eroded from small gold-bearing veins in the vicinity of the placers.

Sluice and drag-line installed in 1927 but abandoned after 1 month's operation. Suspended work 1927. No production figures given; probably small (a few ounces of gold were produced).
