Collier Creek Mine, Mt Ida, Montgomery Co., Arkansas, USA

Ref.: Rocks & Min.:63:112; Engel(1952). An open pit quartz mine. Located 6 miles SE of Mt Ida. Proceeds are in stockwork and veins in Crystal Mountain Sandstone. Started 1865 and closed in 1912. Restarted in the 1980's.
