Hamilton Jenkin XV 1969.
Dines 1956.
The first recorded working of this mine was in 1815. The next record of development was around 1852. When the lode was said to be 122cms wide, with agentiferous ore to 15cms wide. Other than this very little is known. In 1912, 1918 the mine was prospected for tin and tungsten, but did not reopen. In 1943 the mine was reopend at adit level and above this level. In this "working" the wolframite was found as blades and sheaves of crystals to 2.5cms embeded in quartz/chlorite veinstuff with sulphides. At the east end of the adit the wolframite was found as 15cm vein. The mine was not put in to production, as tin/tungsten values where to eratic.
The only recorded output is 9 tons of lead ore for 1852.
