A former surface Au placer deposit area located in secs. 31 & 32, T.19S., R.8E., secs. 5 & 6, T.20S., R.8E., and the SE ¼ sec. 3, T.20S., R.7E. Owned at times, or in part, by the Baboquivari Gold Placer Co.; and, Conard.
Mineralization is finely divided gold in a 6 to 11 foot thick gravel bar containing abundant boulders but little clay, resting on a granite pediment.
Workings include small, intermittent placer operations. A few tens of ounces of gold were recovered.
