A former small underground Au-Ag mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 34, T.16S., R.5E. (protracted), 6½ miles NE of Sells. Owned at times, or in part, by Jaeger; and the Akron Gold Mining Co.

Mineralization is irregular, sugary, quartz-calcite veins with spotty, oxidized pyrite, showing enriched gold and silver values in iron oxides near the surface, along a fracture zone in Laramide granitic intrusive. Sericitized and silicified wall rock.

Workings include a relatively shallow inclined shaft. Only a relatively few tons of ore, averaging about 8 oz. Au/T and 5 oz. Ag/T, were produced in 1938.
