A former small underground Cu-Ag-Au-Pb mine located in North-central sec. 25, T.16S., R.4E. (protracted), 6¾ miles SW of Comobabi. Produced 1922-1947. Owned at times, or in part, by the Comobabi Copper Co.; Charles M. Taylor; George W. Pidgett (Pickett ?); and, J.A. May.
Mineralization is quartz veins on fractures along a contact of Cretaceous (?) andesite porphyry volcanics with Laramide granitic intrusive. Spotty, largely oxidized, argentiferous copper and lead minerals.
Workings are shallow. Produced up to 100 tons of ore averaging about 0.2 oz. Au/T, 24 oz. Ag/T, 6% Cu and minor Pb. Production years unknown.
