A former small underground Ag-Cu-Au mine located in the NE ¼ sec. 31, T.16S., R.5E. (protracted), 6 miles N of Sells. Owned by Anderson; the Sherwood Copper Co.; the Delva Mining Co.; N.W. Leonard; and, H.P. Duffy.
Mineralization is partly oxidized quartz-calcite veins with spotty sulfides along a fault zone cutting Laramide dioritic to quartz monzonitic intrusive. High silver values in the oxidized zone.
Workings include a shaft(s). Sporadic production occurred during the periods 19817-1927 and 1952-1953, of a few tens of tons of ore averaging about 10% Cu, 37 oz. Ag/T and minor Au.
