A Cu-Ag-Au-Mn-Zn mining area locted in T.16S., R.7-8E., in the Coyote Mountains and the area North of the Quinlan & Coyote Mountains.

Mineralization is varied: (1) Partly oxidized copper, zinc and molybdenum minerals in a faulted, contact-metamorphosed Paleozoic limestone pendant in Laramide quartz monzonite intrusive; (2) Spotty and relatively weak oxidized copper mineralization along a fault zone cutting volcanics and sediments of Laramide age; and (3) Narrow stringers and discontinuous lenses of manganese oxides along strong fracture or fault zones cutting Laramide age rhyolite.

Workings include shallow cuts, pits, adits and shaft workings (except Roadside Mine). About 710 tons of ore averaging 10% Cu, 0.03 oz. Au/T and 1.7 oz. Ag/T were produced. Some 145 long tons of low-grade Mn ore were also shipped.
