A former small surface Au-Ag-Cu-Pb mine located in the NW ¼ sec. 8, T.18S., R.17E., 30 miles SE of Tucson. Produced 1903. Owned by P. Sullivan.
Mineralization is oxidized base metal sulfides in weathered, contact-metamorphosed, Paleozoic limestone and quartzite along a contact with Laramide quartz monzonite.
Workings are surface openings. Some 100 tons of 0.5 oz. Au/T and 19 oz. Ag/T ore were shipped in 1903.
