A phlogopite deposit located about 11 km NW of Behara. Grandidierite was discovered here by Danet Rafalimanana and Rakotomandimby around 1960. It occurred at the time relatively abundantly in the dumps.
The grandidierite was found in a diopside-bearing finegrained pyroxenite.
