A Cu-Ag-Au mine group located in the NW ΒΌ sec. 23, T.18S., R.15E. Owned at times, or in part, by the Helvetia Copper Co.; Michigan-Arizona Development Co.; Helvetia Copper Co. of Arizona; Chilson; Elgin Mining Co.; Helvetia Mining Trust; and McFarland & Hullinger.

Mineralization is irregular, pyrometasomatic replacement lenses of copper carbonates and sulfides, controlled largely by faults, fractures, and favorable silicated Paleozoic limestone, in thrust-faulted and deformed blcoks.

Workings include shaft and tunnel operations.
