A former surface and underground Ag-Pb-Zn-Au-Cu-Pyrite mine operated 1901 through 1952. Additional names which apply to this location: Arizona Butte; Comstock Silver.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Schistosity trends N30ºE and dips NW. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally.
