A former undergrond Au-Ag-Cu-Pyrite mine located in the foothills of the Cerbat Mountains, about 1 mile NW of the Golden Gate Mine. Produced 1880 to 1909.
Mineralization is a vein in schist. It strikes N.35ºW., dips 75º SW, and is 4 to 5 feet (1.3 to 1.6 meters) wide. Gangue is quartz and altered breccia. Oxidation extends to a depth of 90 feet.
Workings include a 200 foot deep shaft and about 200 feet of drifts and some stoping near the surface. Concentrates average 13.42 oz. Au and 40 oz. Ag/T.
