Tryphena Mine was worked from 1847 to 1863, producing copper and tin. It later was incorporated into the Wheal Pendarves sett. The dumps are located about 1 km SE of Penponds, at the edge of a wood east of Killivose. However, the minerals listed here were collected underground, in the Tryphena section of Wheal Pendarves.
