A Ag-Au gold deposit area. The range is about 15 miles long by a maximum of 5 miles wide and rises approximately 4,000 feet above sea level. Formed principally of quartz monzonite, minor sedimentary beds and thick andesite flows, stocklike masses of quartz diorite and minor dikes. Rocks are considerably affected by faulting, principally of a northwestward trend.
Mineralization is quartz veins and hematitic breccia zones that are numerous.
Total yield estimated to about $500,000 (mostly silver)(period values).
