Brunswick pegmatite field.
Ref.: Rocks & Min.: 62:407-415 (list on 409). Topsham is located about 25 miles NE of Portland, ME. The mineralization is a mile-wide belt of granitic pegmatites running from Standpipe Hill,overlooking the Androscoggin River, NNE through the town of Topsham. There are 30 or more named quarries and unnamed prospects in Topsham.
