Basin Locality, Phippsburg, Sagadahoc Co., Maine, USA
Calc-silicate deposit. This is an outcrop on the river shore. Known at least by the early nineteenth century, possibly late 1920's and visited by Charles Jackson in 1836 and afterwards. Many minerals have been erroneously reported in the last two centuries.
