An iron mine operated 1909 - 1922 by Munro Iron Mining Co, working in the Riverton Iron-Formation. 1.2 million tons of ore were shipped. This mine is the type locality for the exceedingly rare manganese mineral Seamanite. The property description is locaterd at NW-NE, S1/2-NE, and NE-SE Sec. 26 T43N-R34W.
