A small mine whose workings are amongst the oldest and also the most recent in the district. During the 1930s, the gold for Princess Marina's wedding ring, and subsequent royal rings was produced from a bar of gold from this mine (together with gold from Prince Edward Mine and the mid-wales mine, Roman Deep at Dolaucothi), hence the alternate name - the Marina Mine.
The total known output to 1914 was 14 tonnes of gold ore giving 60 ounces of gold
