A group of manganese claims located in sec. 3, T.11N., R.13W., about 1½ miles (2.2 km) SE of the Graham deposit. Owned by Mr. T.R. McComas. Produced in 1930.
Mineralization is a manganese-bearing bed 2 to 6 feet thick, which is the topmost layer of a series of red sandstone and shale which strike N.20ºW. and dip 25ºSW. The orebody is exposed for 375 feet, but on the west side of the arroyo it is covered with ditritus a few feet back from its outcrop, and the depth to which the ore extends is not known. Some high-grade ore is psilomelane float.
