Commodity: Fluorite is light greenish grey to light grey with crystals less than 2 mm diameter

Deposit: Fluorspar occurs in quartz-rich en echelon veins. Main vein is pod-shaped on the west side of an outcrop of altered lithic-rich volcanic breccia. Locally the breccia forms very steep outcrops and ridges of highly silicified material. Sample 1771 was selected from the pile stacked next to the outcrop As well As from the outcrop itself; it did not contain detectable gold.

Development: Some fluorspar has been hand-cobbed and stacked next to the outcrop (1984)

Ore(s): Along A Zone Of Silicified, Pyritized, And Bleached Volcanic Rocks.
