An asbestos prospect located in sec. 20, T2S, R17E, along a hill slope, just North of Red Whiskers Spring and about ½ mile SE of Hog Mountain, on Indian Reservation land.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a linear ore body hosted Mescal Limestone that has been split into at least 3 segments by widespread diabase intrusions. The beds strike NW and dip 25SW. The ore zone is 121.92 meters long, 0.03 meters wide, strikes NW and dips 25SW.
Assay data: The asbestos fiber is semi-harsh to harsh.
