A surface copper prospect located in the N½ sec. 27, T1N, R18E, about ¼ mile East of the San Carlos-Sawmill Road, 4 miles N of San Carlos (town).
Mineralization is a fault striking about N20W and dipping steeply to the West. Copper minerals are near, but not in, the fault. The occurrence of copper near the fault, though perhaps accidental, suggests an access for the copper-bearing solution. It is probably due to precipitation from migrating ground water containing some available copper.
Workings include 3 pits.
