Structure: Faults
Alteration: Leaching Of Ferromags And Sericitization Of Feldspars
Deposit: Vein, fissure filling. The vein is approx. 4 feet wide. The mine was first worked in the early 1870's but was reopened in 1946 and for a three year period produced 2,000 tons of ore averaging 40 oz/ton ag, and 0.07 oz/ton av. A 10-stamp amalgamating & concentrating mill was built near the portal of the tunnel to treat the ore. 62-ft shaft & tunnel in 1930's; 80-ft adit, too. Protection vein has been followed for 750 ft. ; info.src : grang discovery year: early 1870's
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: Mine first worked in the early 1870's, and reopened in 1946 for a 3-year period during which 2000 tons ore averaging 40 oz/ton Ag was produced(also 0.75oz/tau). A 10-stamp amalgamating and concentrating mill was built near the protal of the tunnel to treat
Geology: In roberts etal p. 29 the ahe of mineralization is placed As early tertiary vein is a fissure filling in granddiorite, up th 4 ft. Wide
