Basalt quarry, Kollnitz, St Paul, Lavant valley, Carinthia, Austria

(Basaltbruch, Kollnitz, St Paul, Lavanttal, Kärnten, Österreich)

Abandoned basalt quarry, now partially flooded. Originally, the basalt dome, in which the quarry was working, had an elevation of about 50 m. It has now largely been quarried away. Located near Kollnitz, about 4 km WNW of St Paul.
