The Dobratsch massif, also known as Villacher Alpe, is an isolated mountain range in the southeastern Gailtaler Alpen Mts, north of Arnoldstein and west of Villach. Agate and amethyst have been found in triassic lavae and tuffs at different localities on the south slopes; bean ore has been reported from different localities on its plateau.
