A locality at the western end of the claims.
Japan law twinned quartz crystals occur as individuals up to 2 inches long in a soft limonite matrix. Smaller specimens typically flattened on the prism and the tips of the crystals have smaller crystals perched upon them. Some crystals showed markedly flattened terminations that resemble the basal pinacoid.
