Agua Fria District, Bradshaw Mts (Bradshaw Range), Yavapai Co., Arizona, USA

A silver-copper mining area located about 16 miles East of Prescott. Mineralization was described as very high-grade ore (1881). Ore is in contact deposits between slate & granite.

The Yavapai Schist here contains a number of quartzite lenses, and its composition is very complex. It contains several deposits of the schist replacement type.
