A former U-Mo mine.
Mineralization is U & Mo species with gangue minerals in a lens-like orebody. Alteration includes haloes of jarosite, hydrous iron oxides, sericitized feldspar, and an increase in traces of Mo near the ore. Ore control is carbonaceous material with the highest uranium content along a fault in the paleochannel which may have provided passage for solutions up through the Shinarump member. Host rock is Deception rhyolite.
