According to de Fourestier (2005), the type locality (TL) of Yimengite is Yimeng Mts, and the Mengyin (Mongyin) kimberlite another occurrence. While Mengyin is located within the Yimeng Mts and might well be the exact type locality, there may be other occurrences within the Yimeng ranges. Therefore, the less accurate locality is kept as TL in our database.
