Konder (Kondyor) alkaline-ultrabasic massif (Konder placiers; Konder mine), Aldan shield, Ayan-Maya district, Khabarovskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia

The classical ultrabasic-alkaline massif of central type of Paleozoic or Mesozoic age. Central part of the massif consisting of dunites was weathered with depression formation. This depression is the bed of the famous elluvial-alluvial placer. The depression is surrounded by circular chain composed by pyroxenites and alkaline syenites dykes.

In the central depression of the massif located alluvial placier, which is in operation since 1984 with PGE resources ~60 tons. Last time this placier producing ~5 tons of PGM per year.
