A former surface and underground Pb-Zn-Fe-Quartz prospect/mine located on the South side of Black Canyon, about midway between Black Canyon and Ash Creek, south of Mingus Mountain, at 6,200 feet of altitude.
Mineralization is a vein dipping E or SE at 50º with a lenticular ore body. Ore is massive. Country rock is a wide granodiorite porphyry dike that cuts the Deception and Buzzard rhyolite masses, which, near the vein, shows chloritic alteration.
Workings include 2 small prospect pits.
