A former underground Au-Fe mine located about 1½ miles North of Cherry.
Mineralization is 3 veins, 25 to 45 feet apart to 6 feet wide with ore in lenses and pods. One small oreshoot, 3 feet wide, was found at the end of one of the exploratory drifts. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted. An associated rock unity is the Cherry Quartz Diorite (informal).
Production was allegedly $100,000 of Au (circa 1880)(period values).
