Ancient copper mine, formerly part of the 'Kupfergewerkschaft Larzenbach' (Larzenbach copper mining association). The main ore was chalcopyrite, included in quartz-carbonate veins hosted by greywackes of the Mitterberg formation.
Located near Gielach, 4 km SE of Hüttau and about 9 km WNW of Radstadt.
