(Seekar, Obertauern, Radstädter Tauern, Salzburg, Österreich)

Ancient mining area, located about 4 km ENE of Obertauern. Pb-Cu mineralizations (quartz-siderite veins with chalcopyrite and Ag-bearing fahlore) in quarzites and phyllites of the Radstadt series and gneisses of the Schladming series.
Mining activity first mentioned in 1515, thereafter intermittently working. Finally abandoned in 1924.
