Pouzols Mine, La Ribeyrette (La Fioure; La Fiouve) & La Fauvette valleys, Jax, Paulhaguet, Haute-Loire, Auvergne, France

Ancient mine, working five quartz lenses including mainly arsenopyrite. The lenses are hosted by a paragneiss which carries tourmalinite inclusions. The entrances to several galleries are still visible near the dump. Located in the Ribeyrette valley south of Pouzols, about 2 km SE of Ste Marguerite and 7 km ESE of Paulhaguet.
