Ancient antimony mine, working a large NE-SW striking quartz vein carrying Sb sulphides. During its period of activity, it produced 8,500 tons of antimony. Some dumps still remain on the eastern side of the Céroux valley, just opposite to the small village of Chaliac. Located 1.5 km west of Mercoeur and about 14 km SW of Brioude.
