A former underground Au-Ag-Cu-Pb mine. Started about 1905 and closed 1907; reopened 1914 and closed in 1920. Produced 1903-1944.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration observed.
Area structures include dikes and veins parallel to foliation in Precambrian rocks, which trends N-S.
