This locality was a land-fill site. The occurrence of Vivianite, found in the mid 1990s has long since been filled-over and landscaped, and it may be 15-20 years before they open another pit in the same area where the Vivianite was found.
The Locality produced some of the best Vivianite found in the mainland UK for many years.
