A former small underground Au-Ag mine/group of claims located on 7½ claims in sec. 27, T16S, R5E, (and in the NW¼ sec. 34 ?), about 1½ miles NW of the Akron Mine and 7 miles NE of Sells. Produced 1942. Owned by T.P. Quinn & Assoc. Operators included J.F. Cunningham. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 31.9978N, 111.8247W.
Mineralization includes a principal vein that strikes NW-ward and dips 60ºSW and is traceable SE-ward for more than ½ mile(0.9 km). Overall the ore body is 804.65 meters long. The footwall is diorite porphyry and the hanging wall is slate at the shaft. he vein is about 4 feet (1.2 meters) wide and consists of dense bluish-white quartz with abundant inclusions & scattered bunches of pyrite.
Workings include an 82 foot deep inclined shaft (24.99 meters). Ore assayed at about 1 oz. Au/T.
