A Baryte occurrence and former mine located in secs. 6 & 7, T6N, R13W, near Salome.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist and granite. Iron-stained baryte occurs in faulted schist in the vein and along the hanging wall of a fault. Vein gangue is black chert.
Production was one carload of hand-sorted ore mined and shipped in 1938.
