A former underground Pb-Fe-V-Mo-Mn group of claims / mine located in sec. 12, T2S, R12E, on the westerly slope of Apache Leap, near Superior, on National Forest land. Owned by the Consolidated Holding & Trust Co. of Arizona (1919); Owned by Hugh R. Daggs of Arizona (1942); and the Magma Copper Co. of Arizona (1980).
The claims extend into secs. 1, 11, 13, 14 and into secs. 7, 18, 25 13E.

Mineralization is an orebody in limestone just above the contact with the underlying quartzite near a prominent fault that strikes N.70ºW. and dips steeply SW. It is 1 to 3 feet (0.3 to 0.9 meters) thick. It consists of Mn & Fe-oxides with variable amounts of secondary Pb & V minerals.
Workings are extensive with a 700 foot deep shaft and a tunnel that connects with the shaft about 150 feet below the collar.
