A gold prospect located 5 miles East of the Sheep Tanks Mine. Started over the winter of 1931-32. Owned by the United Verde Extension Mining Co. (1932).
Mineralization is a brecciated zone that contains a few narrow, lenticular quafrtz-carbonate stringers carrying some gold and small limonite-filled pockets fairly rich in gold. The zone strikes about N50W. and dips from 30º to 50ºN. Vein walls are brecciated andesite and have been extensively chloritized and carbonatized and show local sericitization.
Workings include a shallow, inclined shaft, short cross-cut and an inclined winze.
