A former underground Ag-Pb-Cu-Mn mine located in the S½ sec. 35, T20S, R14E, on patented (private) land, about 65 miles SW of Tucson. Owned by Thomas Ewing & Co. Owned by Ellpson And Drake; Martin Wilson (1955).
Mineralization is a 6 foot wide vein - the Sea Serpent lode (21,000 feet long !).
Workings include a 50 foot deep shaft (1881).
