A surface U claim located in secs. 5 & 8 (?), T.18S., R.11E., a few hundred yards (meters) East of the Lena No. 1 claim, 10½ miles W of Twin Buttes, and about 25 air miles SW of Tucson. Location approximate. Owned by Mr. Manuel Obregon of Tucson.
Light colored granite with veins as nuch as 4 feet wide, some consisting almost entirely of quartz and tourmaline. Most veins dip steeply SW-ward. The ore body strikes N40W and dips vertically.
Workings are a shallow open cut.
