A former underground Au-Pb-Cu-Ag mine. Discovered in 1885. Produced 1941-1950. Claims also in secs. 29, 32 & 33.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting, shearing and igneous dikes. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Oxidation was minor to none.
Area structures include veins (And genetically-related [?]) dikes trend N10W to N40W and crosscut Precambrian fabric. Foliation in Precambrian schist and gneiss trends N25E to N65E.
