A group of Au claims with underground workings on the Goodman vein located in sec. 25, T4N, R21W, and sec. 30, T4N, R20W, near the eastern boundary of the reservation, about 7 miles W of Quartzsite.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with irregular ore bodies in a fault zone in schist. The vein at the west end is of irregular shape. In places it is 40 feet (12.19 meters) wide but in a short distance it pinches to a mere seam or is cut out by faults.
Workings include 2 shafts, each about 30 feet (9.14 meters) deep, and 2 tunnels, 30 and 70 feet long, which cut the vein at shallow depths. Ore assayed at some $30 of Au/T (period values). No production record.
